Background:
Platinum Healthcare, a leading quality healthcare provider in the state of Illinois, acquired Chicago-based Progressive Rehabilitation Institute (PRI), a residential, skilled-care facility for developmentally disabled children and young adults.


Objective:

The facility was in search of an innovative and unique branding foundation with a fresh look and feel to better illustrate its true purpose and its position as a leader in the industry. Going beyond the market opportunity, HBG needed to rethink the facility’s core message and develop a strategy and communication platform that would better showcase their distinction. The engagement also entailed creating an appropriate business model and implementing operational enhancements to support the shift.

  • Developed playful ways to bring the brand to life in the facility, including naming and designing an outdoor play environment, “Firefly Park.”
  • Recommended a new referral strategy for the recruitment of new residents from a broader geographic area, and provided tools for this specific target market.
  • Identified operational enhancements to elevate the facility and its clinical services to the level appropriate for the needs of the market.
